Introduction
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team. In this role, you will support the successful execution of mining-related projects from initiation through completion by coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and supporting project delivery. Your work will contribute to efficient project execution, strong customer satisfaction, and overall project profitability. You will report to the Manager, Project Management.
This role is based in Montreal, Canada, with hybrid working options available.
This role includes approximately 30% travel to customer sites to support major project execution activities.

You will join a team of project management professionals focused on delivering complex mining and industrial projects safely, efficiently, and successfully. Our team plays a key role in ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer expectations, with a shared focus on operational excellence and customer success.
We collaborate closely with Project Managers, Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain teams, and customers. Our ways of working emphasize collaboration, accountability, open communication, continuous improvement, and delivering results together.
What you'll do
- Support Project Managers throughout project initiation, execution, reporting, and close-out activities.
- Travel to customer sites to assist with project execution, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Create, maintain, and manage project documentation and sales orders within SAP.
- Coordinate project logistics, including shipping, travel arrangements, and customer training activities.
- Issue purchase orders and support monitoring of project costs, margins, and financial performance.
- Maintain accurate project records and generate reports to support invoicing and project tracking.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project efficiency, quality, and execution.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably within a matrix organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen with experience monitoring and analyzing project costs and margins.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bilingual French and English communication skills (nice to have).
