We are a market-leading, premium jewellery brand operating a network of stores across Australia, New Zealand and Canada. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide trusted administrative support to our National Retail Manager and help keep our Canadian retail operations organized, connected and moving forward.

Location: Victoria, British Columbia

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the National Retail Manager, you will provide professional, consistent and timely administrative support across Canadian Retail. You will coordinate schedules, prepare meetings and events, liaise with external partners and help the National Retail Manager stay informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

Manage and coordinate scheduling
Act as a liaison to external business partners
Arrange logistics for meetings, events and travel
Prepare reports, presentations, and expense reports
Collect and organize information for key meetings, events and external discussions
Assist with special projects, data collection and workflow coordination
Follow up on commitments, deadlines and responsibilities as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality and handle company records, personnel matters and financial documents with discretion
Build effective working relationships and conduct business professionally in line with Michael Hill values, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

Two to three years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with excellent writing, editing and proofreading ability
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Ability to work independently while building productive relationships across the organization
A professional, positive and dependable approach
