Role Description The Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional in-store experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized product recommendations that reflect the Michael Kors brand. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with sales transactions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, replenishing stock, and ensuring the sales floor and fitting rooms are clean and organized. The Sales Associate will handle customer inquiries, support returns and exchanges, and contribute to meeting store sales and key performance targets. This role also involves collaborating with team members, adhering to company policies, and representing Michael Kors’ commitment to luxury service and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail sales experience, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized, luxury-level service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to interact confidently with diverse clientele.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system skills, with attention to accuracy in processing transactions.
• Understanding of visual merchandising principles and store presentation standards within a fashion or luxury retail environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store operations.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Interest in fashion, trends, and the Michael Kors brand; prior experience in apparel, accessories, or luxury retail is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in retail, fashion, or business is beneficial.
