As a Civil Design Technologist / EIT, you will contribute to the planning and execution of construction projects across Canada. Your role will involve preparing detailed designs, drafting technical drawings, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Description
* Prepare civil infrastructure designs and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site plans, grading, servicing, and drainage plans.
* Develop and manage surfaces, alignments, corridors, pipe networks, and grading models.
* Complete stormwater management designs, reports, and hydrologic/hydraulic modelling.
* Design storm, sanitary, and water servicing systems, including fire flow and demand calculations.
* Prepare erosion and sediment control (ESC) plans and low-impact development (LID) solutions.
* Support municipal, environmental, and regulatory approvals across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario.
* Prepare engineering reports, servicing briefs, permit applications, and submission packages.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, utilities, and other project stakeholders.
* Respond to review comments, support construction activities, and review RFIs and shop drawings.
* Assist with site reviews, as-built documentation, quantity take-offs, and project cost inputs.

Profile
A successful Civil Design Technologist / EIT:
* Hold a Civil Engineering degree (EIT) or Civil Engineering Technology diploma. Experience with EGNS, APEGNB or PEO for EITs, or TechNova registration (or eligibility) for technologists.
* Bring at least 5 years of Civil 3D experience within land development, municipal infrastructure, or consulting environments.
* Demonstrate strong technical expertise in grading design, site servicing, stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, and civil infrastructure design.
* Possess working knowledge of municipal approval and permitting processes across various provinces.
* Be comfortable coordinating with architects, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape consultants on multidisciplinary projects.
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical submissions, respond to regulatory comments, and support construction activities.
* Effectively manage multiple project deliverables while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Be proactive, collaborative, and motivated to contribute within a growing multidisciplinary design-build organization.

Job Offer
