ABOUT MICROART:

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: VP Operations

Department: Production Overhead

Role Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machines. This includes ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime, and supporting production goals.

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and trouble shooting on machines, including soldering equipment, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave/selective solder machines, compressors and inspection systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and improve production processes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Provide training and support to operators on proper machine usage and maintenance procedures.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
Perform general building maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC and electrical
Respond to facility-related emergencies and perform necessary repairs.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in building maintenance and facility management is a plus.
