The Opportunity
Micromine is seeking a Mine Planning Consultant in Denver, Colorado or Vancouver BC to support customers using our open-pit mine planning solutions. Sitting within our Americas team, this role combines technical expertise, customer engagement and industry influence. You'll help mining operations realise greater value from technology while building trusted partnerships and contributing to the growth of market-leading mining software solutions.

What You Need To Succeed
- Degree qualification in Mining Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years of open pit mine planning experience, including mine design, production scheduling, Life of Mine (LOM) planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in open-pit mine planning for coal, aggregates or other soft-rock mining operations is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting or using open-pit mining workflows.
- Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Americas, up to 40%.
What You Can Expect From Us
- Base salary ranging from $105,000-$135,000 CAD or USD, dependent on location and experience, plus On-Target Earnings (OTE).
