We’re looking for a Cloud Solution Architect focused on Cloud & AI Data to help enterprise customers build unified, governed, secure, and AI-ready data estates on Microsoft Azure. In this customer-facing role, you will work with business and technology leaders to connect strategic priorities with architecture decisions, delivery roadmaps, and measurable production outcomes.

You will lead technical engagements spanning data platform modernization, analytics, databases, governance, and AI-ready data foundations. You will help customers move from early experimentation and proofs of concept to secure, resilient, and production-grade solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL, Cosmos DB, and related Azure data and AI capabilities.This opportunity will allow you to deepen your technical leadership, strengthen your business and industry acumen, and develop repeatable approaches that help customers accelerate adoption and realize value from their Microsoft investments. Responsibilities

Engage customer business and technology leaders to understand their data estates, AI priorities, governance needs, success measures, and business outcomes; translate these requirements into secure, scalable, and AI-ready Cloud & AI Data solutions.

Lead architecture design and create Data and AI platform roadmaps spanning analytics, data engineering, databases, governance, and AI-enabled scenarios. Guide customers in making architectural choices across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure databases, and related Azure services.

Drive technical engagements from architecture and proof of concept through pilot, production deployment, and scaled adoption. Help customers establish reusable patterns rather than treating each implementation as an isolated solution.

Lead data platform modernization and migration across relational, non-relational, analytical, and data-engineering workloads, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL, and Cosmos DB.

Help customers establish effective data governance practices, including data ownership, security, quality, discoverability, metadata management, compliance, and lifecycle management, aligned to their organizational and regulatory requirements.

Improve the health and sustainability of mission-critical data workloads by addressing resiliency, security, sovereignty, performance, capacity management, operational readiness, and cost optimization.

Partner with CSAMs, account teams, specialists, engineering teams, and delivery resources to remove technical blockers, align customer success plans with feasible delivery outcomes, contribute reusable IP, and share customer and field feedback with product teams.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field

o AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

o OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field

o AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field

o AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

o OR equivalent experience.

· 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).

· 4+ years experience working on technical projects.

· Experience leading production data platform engagements in two or more of the following areas: Microsoft Fabric and analytics; Azure Databricks and data engineering; Azure SQL and open-source databases; data governance; or production data foundations for AI solutions.

· Experience with enterprise architecture considerations such as security, governance, data quality, metadata management, resiliency, performance optimization, capacity planning, operational readiness, and cost management. Relevant Cloud, Data, Analytics, Database, AI, or Security certifications are preferred.
