Manager, Financial Accounting & Reporting

Position Summary:

In this role, you will support the financial controller with the oversight of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on financial accounting experience within a dynamic and growing business environment. You will work closely with the leadership team and be exposed to a variety of tasks across different entities and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and management reporting in accordance with US GAAP
• Coordinate with external auditors, supporting annual audits and resolving audit findings
• Research and apply new accounting standards, and document accounting policies and positions
• Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accruals, and revenue recognition
• Support regulatory, lender, and board reporting requirements
• Coach, develop, and manage a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications & Skills:

• Professional accounting designation
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role
• Strong technical knowledge
• Proven experience leading a financial close and preparing financial statements
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of professionals
