This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and technical capabilities who enjoys solving difficult problems with data and code and wants to accelerate their development in analytics, statistical modelling, marketing effectiveness, and Marketing Mix Modeling.
At Miix, you won’t simply execute predefined analytical tasks. You’ll work directly on real client projects, use Python to solve analytical problems, contribute to statistical models and analytical tools, and help turn complex datasets into insights that inform real marketing investment decisions.
You’ll work alongside experienced team leaders and receive ongoing mentorship, coaching, and exposure to senior leadership.
Please note: This is an on-site role based in Liberty Village, Toronto. New team members are required to work from the office five days per week.
What You’ll Do- Support Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and advanced analytics projects across a range of industries and clients
- Write and apply Python code to solve analytical and business problems
- Work with large and complex datasets, including data ingestion, harmonisation, cleaning, transformation, and quality validation
- Contribute to statistical modelling, analysis, dashboarding, and reporting workflows
- Investigate data and model outputs to identify patterns, issues, and meaningful insights
- Translate analysis into insights that support marketing and business decisions
- Help develop and improve analytical tools, processes, and workflows
- Gain exposure to emerging analytical approaches, technologies, and applications of AI within marketing analytics
- Collaborate with managers and senior team members to deliver high-quality client work
- Build both the technical and consulting skills required to take on increasing responsibility as you progress

Required Technical Skills- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or equivalent
- Experience applying Python to analytical problems involving real datasets
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and quantitative methods
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including functions, pivots, and data analysis
- Comfort working with large datasets, data transformation, validation, and structured analytical problems
Additional Technical SkillsThe following are considered assets:
- Exposure to regression or statistical modelling methodologies, including linear regression, Bayesian concepts, Elastic Net, or related methods
- Working knowledge of R
- Familiarity with SQL or additional programming languages
- Experience with dashboarding or data viz tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI
- Exposure to machine learning, AI-enabled analytical workflows, or analytical automation
- Experience developing analytical projects through internships, co-ops, research, coursework, competitions, or independent projects
Candidate Profile- Undergraduate degree completed or nearing completion in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Commerce, or another quantitative discipline
- Master’s degree considered an asset
- Previous professional, internship, co-op, research, or other relevant analytical experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated application of Python, R, statistical analysis, or related technical skills beyond introductory coursework
- Legally authorised to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship
- Located in the GTA with the ability to work onsite full-time at our Liberty Village office
Compensation & Growth Opportunity- $26.45/hour, paid bi-monthly (equivalent to an annualised salary of $55,000 CAD)
- Opportunity for conversion into a full-time Analyst role beginning January 2027, based on performance and business needs (Salary band $60,000 - $70,000 CAD)
