Original job description
Mikelle Search Group is excited to be partnering with a well-established, privately held energy infrastructure company to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Calgary team!
Our client is backed by a major institutional investor and has a strong track record of growth through acquisitions and the development of innovative midstream infrastructure assets across Western Canada.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, operational accounting, compliance, cash flow forecasting and process improvement.
You'll be involved in everything from month-end close and IFRS reporting to working closely with Operations and Supply Chain, providing an opportunity to understand the business beyond just the numbers.
What We're Looking For:
- CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including IFRS and financial reporting.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis and accounting operations.
- A detail-oriented, collaborative individual who enjoys problem-solving and improving processes.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
Beyond the opportunity to join a well-capitalized, established organization, our client offers competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and an incredibly supportive team environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a well-rounded accounting role, wants exposure to different areas of the business and values working with a strong team.
