Commission percentages and payment terms will be agreed upon in writing before you begin working on opportunities. You must be financially comfortable working without guaranteed income. This is a performance-based sales position for someone who is prepared to prospect, communicate with leads, follow up consistently, qualify opportunities, attend sales calls and help close business. About Miles Ahead Hosting Miles Ahead Hosting is a growing digital services company providing a range of technology, marketing and business solutions, including: Website design and development WordPress and Shopify solutions Web hosting and domains Search engine optimization Digital marketing Lead generation Branding and social media Custom applications CRM systems AI and business automation Ongoing website and technical support Projects can range from smaller website and hosting engagements to larger digital systems, applications and ongoing growth services. The Role We are looking for a Sales Development Representative / Junior Account Executive to work directly under the Head of Sales / Revenue Operator. Your role is to help turn leads and prospects into legitimate sales opportunities and, where appropriate, into paying clients. You will not be expected to design the company's entire sales strategy or manage the sales department. Instead, your responsibility is to execute consistently within the sales process, maintain strong follow-up, keep the CRM accurate and help move opportunities from initial contact toward a completed sale. You will work closely with the Head of Sales on: Lead qualification Prospecting Outreach Follow-up Discovery calls Appointment setting Proposal follow-up Objection handling Negotiation support Closing opportunities CRM management Pipeline updates The Head of Sales will provide direction, priorities and accountability. You will be expected to execute. What You Will Be Walking Into This is not a mature enterprise sales environment. You may encounter: Cold leads Older leads Unqualified leads Incomplete contact information Prospects who stopped responding Prospects who previously showed interest Leads that require multiple follow-ups Different types of businesses and industries Sales processes that are still being improved Some opportunities will be easy, Some will require significant persistence. The expectation is that you learn to identify the difference rather than treating every lead as equally valuable. You will be working within a growing sales operation where processes, scripts, CRM usage and follow-up systems are continuously being improved. Growth Opportunity This position is designed as an execution-focused sales role. Strong performance can lead to increased responsibility, including: Managing a larger pipeline Handling more discovery calls Closing opportunities independently Taking ownership of specific accounts Becoming a Senior Account Executive Becoming a Closer Eventually moving into sales leadership Future titles, responsibilities and compensation structures are not guaranteed and will depend on demonstrated performance and business needs.
