Original job description

Company Description Milya AI is redefining dental care by building intelligent, human-centered AI solutions that streamline clinical and administrative workflows in dental practices. The company’s products, including Josh - an AI dental scribe that generates real-time clinical notes - and Lucy - a virtual receptionist that manages appointments and calls 24/7 - help dental professionals spend more time on patient care and less on administrative tasks. Milya focuses on technology that adapts to the way dental teams work, maintaining the human touch at the core of care. Serving both solo practitioners and multi-location group practices, Milya enables clinics to operate more efficiently, accurately, and confidently.

Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer at Milya AI, you will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems that power our AI-driven dental solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and AI researchers to translate user and business requirements into robust, scalable back-end services and APIs. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing system performance, improving reliability, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions. You will also contribute to technical strategy, mentor team members, and help establish best practices in software engineering and deployment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC.
