We sell fun and provide opportunities to express yourself through hobbies and interests.</p><p>If you support our vision – try yourself and join our team!</p><p>We are looking for motivated and energetic <strong>Seasonal Sales Associates</strong> who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoy interacting with customers, and are excited to help create a fun and engaging shopping experience.</p><h2>Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</h2><ul><li>Greet customers, answer questions, build customer confidence, and recommend products based on their needs, providing exceptional customer service.</li><li>Operate a POS system, accurately process payments, and issue receipts.</li><li>Keep the store neat and organized, including restocking products and ensuring inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.</li><li>Develop strong knowledge of the store's product lines and assist customers with product-related questions.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide guidance on product selection, usage, care, and maintenance.</li><li>Consistently work toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals to support store profitability.</li><li>Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while assisting customers quickly and efficiently.</li><li>Assist with merchandising, restocking, inventory, and general store organization.</li><li>Follow company policies, procedures, safety, and security requirements.</li><li>Support other team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.</li><li>Perform other store-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2>You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li><strong>1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail is preferred.</strong></li><li>Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of customers.</li><li>Ability to multitask, respond to competing priorities, and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.</li><li>Friendly, dependable, energetic, and able to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Passion or knowledge of pop culture, games, toys, puzzles, collectibles, and board games is preferred.</li><li>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.</li><li>Flexible availability during the seasonal period, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul><h2>Pay Rate</h2><p><strong>$17.95 per hour</strong></p><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li>Competitive Pay</li><li>Casual Dress</li><li>Store Discount</li><li>Flexible Schedule</li><li>Being surrounded by people and products you <em><strong>love!</strong></em></li></ul><h2>Location</h2><p><strong>Scarborough Town Centre</strong><br><strong>Scarborough, ON</strong></p><h2>Accommodation</h2><p><strong>Mind Games is committed to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment and selection process.
