About The Role

The Operations Lead is a key partner cross functionally. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across inventory, reporting and data, systems, training, office management, and special projects. This role acts as the bridge between teams, ensuring our stores and corporate teams have the tools, processes, information, and support they need to operate effectively and support business growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They are comfortable working independently, collaborating across departments, and turning business needs into clear processes and practical solutions.

What You’ll Do

Operational Excellence

Lead and continuously improve operational processes across Mine & Yours - ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
Partner with department leaders to identify operational needs, solve challenges, and implement practical solutions that support retail performance.
Provide administrative and project support to the Senior Leadership Team, HR/People & Culture, loss prevention and security initiatives, and concession projects.
Support cross-functional and ad-hoc Operations projects from planning through implementation, ensuring tasks and deliverables are coordinated and completed efficiently.

Inventory Management & Optimization

Support inventory management processes across all Mine & Yours retail locations, ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, and moving efficiently through the business.
Support with the annual inventory calendar, including stocktakes, markdowns, seasonal flips, inventory movements, and other key inventory milestones, in alignment with Marketing and business initiatives.
Manage inventory movement processes, including shipping, receiving, transfers, returns, and other inventory-related activities, ensuring processes are completed accurately and within established timelines.
Oversee inventory-on-hand reporting and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Implement and continuously improve best practices for inventory control, accuracy, handling, and movement across all retail locations.
Own and support the implementation and ongoing use of inventory management technology, including RFID systems.
Partner with Operations, Buying, Finance, and Retail to ensure seamless inventory processes and alignment across departments.

Training, Systems, & Communication

Create and maintain training, process, and policy documentation to support consistent execution across Retail.
Lead the rollout of new processes, systems, and initiatives, including communication, training, and implementation support.
Act as a key point of contact and troubleshooter for retail technology and systems.

Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the bridge between Operations and Retail, ensuring teams have the information, tools, and support needed to execute effectively.
Collaborate with Retail, Operations, Buying, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of inventory and business initiatives.
Support operational improvements and innovation that increase efficiency and support revenue growth.

Office & Accommodation Management

Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workplace is organized, well-maintained, and appropriately stocked.
Manage office supplies, vendors, services, facilities, maintenance, and other workplace needs.
Manage company Airbnb, including bookings, guest/host communication, check-ins and check-outs, cleaning, maintenance, and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of office and accommodation-related expenses, bookings, and operational requirements.

Who You Are

2-5 years of experience in operations, retail operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
A solutions-oriented mindset and ability to troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities, and improve processes.
Experience creating and implementing processes, training materials, and documentation.
Comfortable learning and supporting technology, systems, and new tools; experience with inventory or retail systems is an asset.
Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to identify what needs to be done and take initiative without constant direction.
Experience in retail, luxury, fashion, or resale is an asset.
