The position of project coordinator for the Explore Minnesota marketing team is crucial to ensure that our $7M+ marketing budget is spent in the most efficient manner possible by coordinating timelines, creative and strategic reviews, approvals, quality control and final deliverables both with internal staff as well as our agency of record. This position manages a wide range of projects, strategies, deadlines, contributors and stakeholders and is crucial to the operation and organization of Explore Minnesota marketing program initiatives.

Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating marketing efforts across the agency and, as needed, agency-wide deliverables via project management software and communication tools. The goal is to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Supporting department projects and providing technical assistance and coordination to projects as needed.
Performing other duties as assigned, including participating in projects as requested

Minimum Qualifications

To be qualified and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Please submit an example of a brief for a project that you have implemented. This does not need to include private business or organizational information but should provide a structure or framework that you have used with a team to successfully launch, project manager, and execute a larger initiative (ideally cross-departmental and/or external partnership).

Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management for marketing and advertising, including social media, content and asset management, creative design and print media.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, including planning, prioritizing, organizing, overseeing vendor work, and coordinating multiple simultaneous projects around tight timelines.
Extensive experience with Asana project management software or comparable project management tools to manage tasks, timelines, and team workflows.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse tasks ranging from marketing to creative design, stakeholder engagement, external partners and print deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of people, contractors, and stakeholders.
Experience managing internal team timelines and deliverables alongside an external marketing agency of record in a collaborative manner, supporting and strengthening the partnership.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related field as determined by the agency
Experience leading cross-functional project development from project inception to debriefs.
Experience updating a dynamic RACI stakeholder matrix to meet department and agency needs
Ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to obtain information to support project development and maintenance.
Experience training others to participate in project management best practices and/or use project management software.
