We are on the lookout for a
QMS Engineer to join our team in Loznica. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Quality Management System in alignment with industry standards and customer requirements. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving quality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct periodic quality awareness, QMS, process, and audit-related training, and support regular quality improvement activities across Serbia operations
- Coordinate the preparation plan and cross-functional team activities for external audits, including IATF 16949 certification/recertification audits, customer audits, and other quality system audits
- Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 related activities, including audit preparation, documentation readiness, internal follow-up, corrective action tracking, and verification of effectiveness.
- Monitor QMS implementation across production areas and support departments to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal standards
- Support the follow-up and closure of internal and external audit nonconformities, ensuring root cause analysis, corrective actions, implementation evidence, and effectiveness verification are completed on time
- Cooperate with production, engineering, quality, logistics, HR, and other functions to continuously improve QMS effectiveness and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Quality or Industrial Engineering preferred
- Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements; knowledge of VDA standards and automotive Core Tools is an advantage
- Experience with internal/process audits, corrective action management, and document control
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple audit and QMS activities simultaneously
