Seeking an experienced professional for a contract position in Mississauga, ON. This role involves developing and optimizing data pipelines for financial data processing. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for financial data processing.
- Lead projects for developing batch pipeline processes for credit risk analytics.
- Ensure efficient storage and retrieval of risk data in big data platform systems.
- Implement best practices for performance tuning in data processing technologies.
- Maintain code quality through testing, continuous integration, and version control.
Qualifications
- 7 years of software development experience with at least 5 years in backend development.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming, exception handling, and concurrency.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in enterprise databases.
- 3 years of experience leading software development projects.
- Experience in financial market and credit risk enterprise software systems.
