Our established Indigenous practice area is in search of an energetic, motivated and client-focused professional to join the team in our Vancouver office. Candidates should have at least two to five years of experience in Aboriginal law and related areas, with interest and relevant experience in supporting negotiations, regulatory, litigation, consultation and governance work on behalf of Indigenous clients based in Western Canada.
Our Indigenous Practice Area serves First Nations, Métis and Inuit governments and businesses across Canada, advising on a wide variety of legal matters including litigation and negotiations of Aboriginal and Treaty rights, specific claims, commercial/economic development, lands and land management, labour and employment, health and child welfare governance, inherent jurisdiction and environmental, regulatory and administrative law.
The successful candidate will receive mentorship from senior lawyers within the practice group. As a full-service law firm, we work together as a team to provide the highest level of service excellence to help our Indigenous clients succeed in their goals.
