What You Will Do
As a Senior Consultant, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will:
- Lead and deliver ERP consulting and implementation engagements for clients across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, professional services, construction, and not-for-profit organizations.
- Advise clients on business and technology strategies that improve financial management, operational efficiency, reporting, and business performance.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, business process reviews, workshops, and requirements gathering activities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
- Design, configure, test, and implement Business Central modules and related Microsoft technologies.
- Lead solution design activities across key functional areas, including:
- Financial Management
- General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Inventory Management
- Purchasing and Procurement
- Sales and Customer Management

- Job Costing
- Manufacturing and Production

- Design and document future-state business processes, workflows, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Support data migration activities, including data assessment, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to deliver integrated Microsoft ecosystem solutions, including Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and other third-party applications.
- Conduct solution testing, user acceptance testing, training, and go-live support activities.
- Deliver consulting services related to business transformation, operational improvement, process optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage project workstreams and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, providing guidance and strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify business challenges, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Review project deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to MNP standards.
- Coach and mentor junior consultants while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Prepare and present executive-level presentations, recommendations, solution designs, and project updates.
- Manage project financials, including utilization, budgeting, forecasting, work-in-progress, billing, collections, and profitability.
- Support business development initiatives through proposal development, solution scoping, client presentations, demonstrations, and thought leadership activities.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Microsoft's Business Applications ecosystem and emerging technology trends.
- Foster relationships within the Microsoft community, industry partners, and business networks.
- Contribute innovative ideas and process improvements that enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, wellness, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of consulting, ERP implementation, or enterprise business application experience.
- Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or comparable ERP platforms.
- Experience working within Manufacturing, Distribution, Wholesale, Construction, Professional Services, or Not-for-Profit industries is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated client-facing consulting experience with a proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
- Experience facilitating requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment activities.
- CPA designation, practical accounting experience, or strong financial systems knowledge is considered an asset.
- Experience leading project workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Proposal development, business development, and pre-sales experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working within Microsoft partner organizations is considered an asset.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, business processes, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting requirements, and business operations.
- Experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

- Willingness to travel as required.

This is a current opportunity with an ideal hiring range of between $95,000 and $115,000 depending on skills and experience.
