Administrative & Marketing Assistant
Capital Planning | Edmonton, AB | Full-time, permanent | $50,000–$55,000
We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support leadership and coordinate day-to-day administrative and marketing work. This person will help keep projects, deadlines, and follow-ups on track, allowing the team to focus on client and business priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for about 10 conferences and events a year: registrations, exhibitor forms, booth materials, setup and follow-up. Some travel and occasional evening or weekend work required.
- Support marketing: routine website updates, social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Mailchimp campaigns, and getting quotes for and ordering marketing materials. We don’t have a marketing department, so you’ll coordinate these activities.
- Track projects, deadlines, commitments and follow-ups, and keep timelines current as priorities shift.
- Work directly with the President to organize information and keep priorities moving.
- Coordinate with team members, clients and external vendors.
- Spot missing details and flag issues before they become problems.
Qualifications
- Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
- Discretion with confidential client and business information.
- Comfort with technology and learning new tools (Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc). Experience is an asset; willingness to learn is essential.
- Assets: experience in executive assistance, administration, project coordination or marketing support; website editing; Adobe Illustrator or similar design tools.
What we offer (Benefits and RRSP matching start after a 3-month probation period))
- Comprehensive group benefits
- Group RRSP with employer matching contributions
- Vacation above the provincial standard
