Our client in Vaughan is looking for a Program Manager. They are seeking someone who has at least 3 years of work experience as a Program Manager while being directly employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company
Location: Vaughan, Ontario. 100% On Site
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy
Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution of automotive programs from award through production launch, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timing, cost, and quality objectives.
- Serve as the primary customer interface, managing program updates, issue resolution, engineering changes, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve program milestones and launch readiness.
- Manage program schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables while driving corrective actions to address performance gaps and project challenges.
- Support APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement activities to ensure successful product launches, production stability, and achievement of financial targets.
- Minimum RequirementsAt least 3 years of experience as a Program Manager witha tier 1 automotive manufacturing company
- Experience managing multiple programs for various automotive OEMs
- Proven success leading new product launches in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and automotive quality systems.
- Being a mentor to Junior Program Managers
