Our client in Guelph is looking for a Quality Engineer. They are seeking someone who has been employed as a Quality Engineer is a low volume, high mix metals manufacturing environment.
Location: Guelph, Ontario. 100% On Site
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Minimum Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of work experience as a Quality Engineer while being employed in a low volume, high-mix metals manufacturing environment
- Experience with FAI, PPAP and internal auditing
- Making presentations to internal and external customers
Responsibilities
- Engaged with New Product Introduction
- Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports and PPAPs
- Be the quality contact during customer visits
- Address customer quality concerns in a professional manner.
- Perform root cause analysis and champion Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to address technical challenges.
- Provide quality expertise during process improvements
