Our client in Guelph is looking for a Quality Engineer. They are seeking someone who has been employed as a Quality Engineer is a low volume, high mix metals manufacturing environment.

Location: Guelph, Ontario. 100% On Site

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Minimum Requirements

A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of work experience as a Quality Engineer while being employed in a low volume, high-mix metals manufacturing environment
Experience with FAI, PPAP and internal auditing
Making presentations to internal and external customers

Responsibilities

Engaged with New Product Introduction
Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports and PPAPs
Be the quality contact during customer visits
Address customer quality concerns in a professional manner.
Perform root cause analysis and champion Continuous Improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to address technical challenges.
Provide quality expertise during process improvements
