Role Description The Construction Project Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakville, ON. This position is responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads, meeting with residential and commercial clients, and presenting tailored construction solutions for projects such as custom builds, renovations, ADUs, and tiny homes. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, preparing and explaining estimates and proposals, coordinating with project managers and designers, and following up with clients throughout the sales cycle. The role involves managing a pipeline of opportunities, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to project execution. The Construction Project Salesperson is expected to build long-term relationships with clients and industry partners and represent MODINNO DWELLINGS INC. professionally in the community.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in client relationship building, consultative selling, and negotiation, with the ability to close residential and commercial construction projects.
- Experience in construction project estimation, reading basic plans, and explaining scopes of work, materials, timelines, and budgets in clear terms.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize tasks, and use CRM or sales tracking tools to maintain accurate records and follow-up activities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including active listening and professional written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in construction, renovations, real estate, or related industries is strongly preferred; familiarity with local building codes and permitting is an asset.
- Comfort working on-site and conducting regular site visits in Oakville and the Greater Toronto Area; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are beneficial.
