About This Role

As our Marketing Technologist, you'll be the person who turns AI ambition into working systems. This isn't a “use ChatGPT to write blog posts” role - you'll build real automations, connect our marketing tools to internal systems, and use AI coding tools like Claude Code to solve problems that used to take a developer or a manual process. If you love building things, are fluent in modern AI tooling, and want the freedom to prototype rather than follow a playbook, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

Design and build AI-powered marketing workflows: content pipelines, campaign personalization, reporting dashboards, and lead-routing logic
Own growth marketing initiatives, including lead generation, customer acquisition campaigns, and sales-funnel optimization
Build and maintain lead-routing and lead-scoring systems to improve conversion from marketing to sales
Create and produce content across web, social, and email channels, keeping brand voice and quality consistent
Use tools like Claude Code (or equivalent) to build scripts, automations, and integrations connecting our CMS, CRM, analytics tools, and other systems
Set up and manage connectors and APIs between AI tools and our existing tech stack
Prototype and ship small internal tools - report generators, content assistants, internal chat tools
Partner with our marketing team and external SEO/digital agency to identify where automation genuinely adds value
Maintain documentation and guardrails so AI-built tools stay reliable, secure, and maintainable
Track performance of marketing initiatives and iterate based on data

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI coding/agent tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) - this is core to the role, not a nice-to-have
2+ years of experience in growth marketing, lead generation, or demand generation, including lead-routing/scoring and funnel optimization
Comfort working with APIs and basic scripting/automation (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
Fluency with WordPress (content management, page building, plugins/integrations)
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience
A portfolio or work samples demonstrating AI-built tools, automations, or integrations you've shipped
Marketing fluency - you understand campaigns, content, SEO, and funnels well enough to know what's worth automating
Strong writing and content instincts across digital channels
A builder's mindset - you'd rather prototype a solution than write a slide deck about one
Good judgment about where AI helps vs. where it introduces risk (brand voice, data privacy, compliance)
Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for cross-functional teamwork
Experience with martech platforms (CMS, email marketing, CRM) is an asset
Insurance or financial services experience is a plus but not required

Work Environment & Schedule

In-office
Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–4:30pm) with early Friday closures during long weekends (May–October)
