JUNIOR MARKETING COORDINATOR

CONTRACT – 12 - 14 MONTH (MATERNITY LEAVE)

Morrison Homes is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Marketing Coordinator to support and execute marketing initiatives for our Calgary Single Family division. As a top, award-winning builder with an established reputation as the Homebuyer’s Best Friend™, we’re looking for someone who can help drive leads, support our sales team and strengthen the Morrison brand.

With a foundation of B2C marketing experience, you’re eager to put your practical marketing and communications skills to use and excel in your career in helping to grow an established, industry-leading company. You have a passion for integrated marketing and a proven skillset in advertising and lead generation. You are an excellent communicator and your verbal and writing strengths allow you to collaborate naturally with team members as well as craft effective marketing communications online and at the point of sale. You’re an organized self-starter and relationship builder who is motivated by results. Ultimately, you thrive in a positive and dynamic environment that is fun and creative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Marketing Manager:

· Help set up new sales centres

· Collaborates on our digital marketing program, including SEM/SEO, email marketing, lead generation (via HubSpot), and content marketing

· Assists in the ongoing maintenance of our website

· Support and execute on key marketing events

· Supports and liaises with our Graphic Designer, Online Sales Assistant and Area Sales Managers

· Coordinating Morrison’s social media platforms and Content Creation

· Liaises with industry media contacts to encourage editorial and writes advertorial content as required

· Develops and maintains productive relationships with agencies, vendors and suppliers

· Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and developer partners to achieve shared marketing goals

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· A desire to learn and adapt

· Experience in video and photo production an asset

· Diploma or degree in a marketing or communications

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Experience using HubSpot an asset.

· Experience in Wordpress or other CMS

· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac OS X an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
