Director of Operations & Manufacturing
Ever wanted to build a factory from scratch?
I’m working with an innovative industrialized construction company in Vancouver. You’d set up the Vancouver site, build the team, and create the playbook they’ll use to scale to a larger plant and expand across Canada and Europe.
What you’d own:
- Manufacturing and production
- Supply chain and procurement
- Facilities, logistics and transportation
- Working along side Senior Management, HR teams to hire and grow the operations team over the next 3+ years
Who I’m looking for:
- A senior manufacturing or operations leader who has run multiple functions at once
- Someone who has launched or scaled a facility before, or really wants to
- A background in building products, construction, engineered products or industrial manufacturing (a big plus)
- Lean or Six Sigma (nice to have)

Responsibilities
Establish and lead the Vancouver manufacturing site, overseeing manufacturing and production, supply chain and procurement, facilities, logistics, and transportation. Build and develop the operations team with senior management and HR, and create a playbook to support expansion to a larger plant and growth across Canada and Europe.
Requirements
The role seeks a senior manufacturing or operations leader with experience managing multiple functions and launching or scaling a facility, or a strong desire to do so. Experience in building products, construction, engineered products, or industrial manufacturing is a plus; Lean or Six Sigma experience is also desirable.
