Product Demonstrator

We are looking for part time Product Demonstrators who will promote products, share samples and provide information to consumers.

Schedule
- Training: to be provided prior to your first day in field
- Looking for Thursday-Sunday availability Saturday’s & Sunday’s (11am to 5pm) Thursdays & Fridays (1pm-7pm)
Wage
- $21/hour
You know you’re a fit for this role because you:
- Are available most weekends
- Are comfortable working independently
- Love to interact with customers (If you’re very shy, this may not be the job for you)
- Think you have what it takes to have an impact on consumers purchase decisions
- Are confident in your ability to meet sampling targets
- Great customer experience and hospitality skills
- Food services experience preferred
- Must have Smart Serve and Food Safety
- MUST be available Thursday-Sunday
- Ability to confidently approach consumers and communicate with people while delivering key messaging
- Ability to stand for the length of your shift (approximately 6 hours)
- Ability to set up and disassemble your sampling booth (all items are stored on location)
- Access to a device with photo capabilities and internet to complete your nightly reporting
- Must have a car and be able to occasionally to shifts at Pictou Sobeys when needed
- Ability to work independently

Responsibilities
Promote products at Sobeys by engaging shoppers, sharing samples, and communicating key product information. Set up and dismantle the sampling booth, work toward sampling targets, and complete nightly reporting.
Requirements
Applicants must be available Thursday through Sunday, have a car, and hold Smart Serve and Food Safety certifications. They should have strong customer service and hospitality skills, be comfortable approaching consumers and working independently, and be able to stand for shifts of approximately six hours.
