The Role
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic components to ensure ongoing, cost-effective operations, in a multi-shift environment. Assist with capital and maintenance projects.

The Role
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic components to ensure ongoing, cost-effective operations, in a multi-shift environment. Assist with capital and maintenance projects.
What You Get To Do
- Repair and maintain packaging and processing equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance program.
- Perform facility repairs as required.
- Repair and maintain high speed PLC controlled equipment.
- Provide technical expertise and support to production management.
- Assist the Maintenance and Engineering team with projects and equipment upgrades.
- Repair, upgrade and install electronic controls and equipment.
- Program and modify PLC’s.
- Work together with equipment Operators to improve line efficiency.
- Detail – oriented with good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand electrical systems/programs
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple issues.
- Able to take direction, both verbal and written, and communicate effectively.
- Electronic aptitude.
- Analytical aptitude.
- Must be computer literate.
- Pass mechanical aptitude test.
- Trouble shooting capabilities.
- Ability to bend frequently and lift heavy equipment as required.
- Able to work under stress.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Valid millwright and / or electrician license.

Responsibilities
Repair and maintain packaging, processing, and facility equipment, including high-speed PLC-controlled machinery, and carry out preventive maintenance. Support production teams and maintenance projects by troubleshooting, modifying controls, upgrading equipment, and collaborating with operators to improve line efficiency.
Requirements
Candidates need a valid millwright and/or electrician license, electrical and electronic aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
