A growing technology company focused on building charitable gaming and fundraising products is looking for a Senior Go Developer to join its engineering team. The organization builds 50/50 raffles, sweepstakes, and lottery products for charitable organizations, with a technology stack centered around Go, TypeScript, Vue.js/React, AWS, and cloud-native infrastructure. The team is actively migrating its backend from .NET to Go and its frontend toward TypeScript, making this a hands-on opportunity to help shape the next generation of the platform.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a small, outcome-driven engineering team where developers own features end-to-end - from clarifying requirements directly with business stakeholders through deployment to production. There is no heavy PM translation layer, giving you more context, ownership, and influence over technical decisions. The biggest draw is the opportunity to work on a real, active .NET-to-Go migration, while helping define the architecture and direction of a platform whose products have raised more than $1 billion for charitable organizations across North America.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong server-side experience with Go, or demonstrable experience making Go your next serious language
- Front-end experience with TypeScript and at least one modern framework such as Vue.js or React
- Cloud platform experience, including deploying applications to the cloud
- Experience working through ambiguous requirements and clarifying needs with stakeholders
- Strong outcome-oriented mindset focused on delivering working software
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure
- Containerization and/or Kubernetes experience
- Experience working with cloud-native, container-first environments

- Own software delivery end-to-end, from scoping requirements with stakeholders through production deployment
- Build new backend services in Go
- Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and Vue.js or React
- Help drive the roadmap for migrating services from .NET to Go
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders
- Make pragmatic architectural decisions focused on simplicity and outcomes
- Help mentor and support other engineers on the team
