This is a part-time, casual position with one, regular, four-hour weekday shift per week, plus additional hours up to a maximum of twelve per week, primarily on evenings and weekends. The term of the position runs from 15 August to 15 May.

- Work at the Welcome Desk during select after-hours events
- Be “on call” for Welcome Desk shifts during the week and on weekends
- Set up, host, and put away Play Atelier for Make Something Sunday, a monthly program of informal hands-on workshops for kids twelve and under and their adults
- Attend planning meetings and assist with material prep ahead of Make Something Sunday programs
- Disinfect and maintain access resources, such as fidgets and sensory kits
- Assist with the Sweetest Little Thing annual fundraiser

- Comfortable maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for visitor experience while also preserving the safety of works of art
- Punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and demonstrated organizational skills
- Comfortable with moderate physical activity required for the setup and takedown of events
- Previous experience working with audio-visual equipment is considered an asset
