Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
Work closely with Site Superintendents to ensure construction activities are progressing according to schedule and project specifications.
Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other technical documentation.

Identify and proactively manage project risks, delays, and potential cost overruns.
Manage procurement activities, subcontractor tendering, contract negotiations, and material deliveries.
Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario Building Code requirements, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, site instructions, and progress reports.
Manage project closeout, including deficiencies, commissioning, warranties, and final documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction project management, ideally with a General Contractor in Ontario.
Proven experience successfully delivering commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-residential construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Familiarity with Ontario construction regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, including CCDC contract forms.
Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
PMP, Gold Seal Certification (GSC), or P.Eng. designation would be considered an asset.

A proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and implement practical solutions.
A collaborative leader who works closely with Site Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
Someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality construction projects.

What's on Offer
