- Position: CIVIL DRAFTING TECHNOLOGIST
- ID No: 1-1495
- Location: Lethbridge
Key Responsibilities
- Work with engineers, technologists, and project managers to develop civil engineering and geotechnical drawings.
- Duties may involve drafting site plans, earthworks, structures, plans/profiles, and details.
- Work closely and communicate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop complete drawing packages.
- Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, and drainage systems, focusing on geotechnical aspects.
- Opportunity to support our materials testing lab for additional hands-on experience.
- 0 – 5 years’ experience, though consideration will be given to suitable intermediate level (5 – 10 years’ experience) candidates.
- Be registered or be eligible for registration with ASET.
- Experience/proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
- Experience with Civil 3D would be an asset.
- Self-motivated, reliable, with a strong work ethic and natural enthusiasm.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills and can work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
Develop civil engineering and geotechnical drawings with engineers, technologists, and project managers, including site plans, earthworks, structures, plans and profiles, and details. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce complete drawing packages for projects such as dams, canals, pipelines, and drainage systems, and potentially support the materials testing lab.
Requirements
Candidates should have 0–5 years of experience, with consideration given to intermediate candidates with 5–10 years, and be registered or eligible for registration with ASET. Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD is required; Civil 3D experience is an asset, along with reliability, self-motivation, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
