Field Service Representative
Location: North York / Greater Toronto Area
Salary: $60,000–$75,000
Travel: Primarily within the GTA, with occasional travel outside the region and out of province.

Who Are We?
We are a strategic recruitment agency specializing in connecting skilled professionals with top employers across Canada and the United States. Our holistic approach ensures that both technical and cultural alignment leads to long-term success for all parties involved.

Why Are We Looking for You?
MT Talent Solutions is partnering with an established industrial coating equipment organization to recruit a Field Service Representative. This opening follows the retirement of an existing team member.

If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, working with tools, and helping customers solve practical technical challenges, this could be a great next step. You’ll combine service work at customer sites with equipment preparation, repairs, and technical support at the North York Office.  You’ll receive structured training and gradually take on larger, more complex projects as your knowledge and confidence grow.

What’s In It for You?

  • $60,000–$75,000 base salary
  • 2–3 months of initial training, followed by ongoing learning and technical development.
  • Eligibility for a vehicle support program including a monthly lease contribution, annual maintenance support, and a gas card for business travel, subject to program requirements.
  • Group health benefits, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.
  • Varied, hands-on work with opportunities to take on increasingly complex installations and service projects.

What Will You Do?

  • Install, commission, service, and repair industrial equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and recommend corrective action.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Visit customer facilities to assess equipment performance and address service needs.
  • Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safe use.
  • Prepare equipment, tools, and demonstration units for service and project work.
  • Document service findings, completed repairs, and recommended next steps.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and, occasionally, subcontractors to complete installations and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What Do You Bring?

  • Mechanical aptitude and practical mechanical and electrical knowledge gained through work experience or training.
  • Confidence using hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and an interest in learning new equipment and technologies.
  • Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organization, reliability, and the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and completing service documentation.
  • A valid driver’s licence and passport, with flexibility to travel and respond to occasional urgent service requests.
