Application Support Specialist

Overview

Multimatic is a privately held, global enterprise supplying engineered components, systems and services to the automotive industry. The company’s core competencies include the development and manufacture of complex mechanisms and body hardware, suspension systems and body structural components as well as the design, engineering and development of light weight composite automotive systems.

We are located in Markham, Ontario, and we are currently seeking a SAP S/4 HANA FICO Analyst.

Summary

This person will be responsible for support of SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE for all the Multimatic divisions across different countries (Canada, US, Mexico, UK, and China). This role will also require the enhancement of the current system and ensure training and documentation of the changes. With the plan of Multimatic to upgrade to S4 HANA, the role will require to assist in the blueprinting activities and implementation of the updated SAP system. The role will also require the need to learn the Multimatic inhouse manufacturing and shipping system that interfaces with SAP.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will possess and can demonstrate the following skills:

• Facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules to enhance the Company’s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders’ satisfaction.
• Prepares detailed functional specifications for customized development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Provide support to all the Multimatic divisions relating to SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE issues and other internal systems.
• Conduct SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE training based on Multimatic SAP standards.
• Manages every aspect of project stage activity within S/4 HANA FINANCE area ensuring quality and accountability of the project completion.
• Ensures documentation and communication elements are maintained and meet the appropriate policy and corporate standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of SAP Finance configuration experience, including knowledge of key integration points, with at least 2 SAP S/4 HANA full lifecycle implementation projects  experience (project preparation through to go-live).
• Must have thorough knowledge of General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Bank Accounting (FI-BL), Cost element accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, and Project Systems.
• Strong knowledge with integration on Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Experience on payment configuration, DMEE, and interface of SAP systems to different banks as part of the AP Process. Multimatic has banking interface in different countries (Canada, US, Mexico, and UK).
• Proven experience facilitating the implementation and support of SAP S/4 HANA FINANCE Modules to enhance business functionality and performance.
• Must be able to facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and translate them to system requirements with the ability to identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
• Must be able to provide technical stewardship of end-to-end integration solutions between SAP and other SAP & non-SAP systems.
• Proven ability to take the lead on technical and functional design, support, documentation & training for multiple systems integrated through SAP.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a clear mindset on end results Experience on S/4 HANA Implementation/Support is a plus.
• Strong multitasking skills with ability to lead and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Results oriented and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude - adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong educational or professional background in Accounting or Finance, combined with substantial SAP FICO experience.
• Professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, ACCA, or equivalent international accounting qualification is considered a strong asset.
• Formal SAP training or certification in SAP Finance/Controlling is desirable.
• Experience of working in large landscapes/environments/customers.

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$57,658.00 - $107,000.00
