Original job description

Composites Technician – Build Cool Stuff for Supercars, Hypercars & Motorsports.

Are you motivated, hands-on, and excited to learn how world-class composite parts are built? Want a job where what you create actually ends up on high-performance vehicles and motorsport programs?

If you’re passionate about working with your hands and want a career where you grow every day - welcome to Multimatic Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.

Why Join Us?

At Multimatic, you’ll work with a team that designs and builds advanced composite components used in some of the coolest automotive and motorsport applications in the world. You’ll learn laminating and cutting-edge skills with advanced materials, and gain experience with technologies such as autoclaves, molds, carbon fiber layups, structural bonding, and more.

If you’re motivated, curious, and ready to learn - this is where you want to be.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be hands-on from day one, all training is provided inhouse.

You will be:

Learning how to laminate and vacuum bag carbon fiber and other composite materials for curing in an autoclave
Working with autoclaves and ovens to cure Composite Materials

Getting hands-on experience in the building and assembly of composite components and substructures
Cutting, trimming, bonding, and finishing composite parts to precise specifications
Gaining knowledge in how to interpret lamination and assembly manuals
Growing your abilities in helping create master molds and patterns
Maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Collaborating closely with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines and quality expectations
Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized
Participating in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen, GEAR and ISO-based processes

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an expert - you just need the right mindset:

With training, you are comfortable using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, gram scales, scissors, knives and other power tools
You have a willingness to learn how to read composite manuals and follow detailed instructions
You are motivated by problem-solving and using hands-on skills
You have a willingness to learn about composite materials, resins, and adhesives
You have the basics around a computer to enter your timesheet
You are team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
You are passionate about building cool things - especially motorsport-related components

Benefits:

The advantages of working at Multimatic include:

Performance Based Wage Review after 3-month Probation Period
