Job position: Senior Accountant
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 CAD + Benefits
Location: Mississauga, ON, Canadá (Hybrid)

Our client, a well-established and growing organization in the print and packaging industry serving customers across North America, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment, has a solid handle on full-cycle accounting, and possesses hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting & Close: Lead month-end and year-end close processes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
- Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform general ledger, bank, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare HST and regulatory filings, and coordinate external audits.
- Planning & Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis to drive business performance and decision-making.
- Operations Collaboration: Work closely with operations, purchasing, and production teams to enhance inventory accuracy, costing schedules, and continuous process improvements.
- Systems: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to maintain data integrity and streamline reporting.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation (completed or in progress) is a strong asset.
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
- Industry Focus: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred (manufacturing costing, job/standard costing, inventory accounting).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is required. Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities
