Contract Auditor – Mississauga, ON (2–3 Months, Potential for Extension)
We are seeking a Contract Auditor to join our audit team in Mississauga, Ontario, for a 2–3 month engagement, with the possibility of extension into a longer-term role.

We are a Mississauga, Ontario-based Audit firm offering a full range of services, including personal and corporate tax preparation, GST/HST compliance, bookkeeping, US tax filing, CRA/IRS audit assistance, and business incorporation. Alongside our tax practice, we maintain an active audit line led by a Senior CPA, serving clients across a range of industries.
We take pride in a client-first approach built on confidentiality, accuracy, and personalized service. As we continue to grow our audit division, we're looking to add a Contract Auditor to support engagements under the direct supervision of our Senior CPA.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Senior CPA, assisting with audit engagements from planning through completion, including testing, documentation, and financial statement preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute audit procedures in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
- Perform substantive and controls testing across various financial statement areas
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures
- Document audit workpapers clearly and in accordance with firm methodology
- Liaise with engagement team members and, where required, client personnel
Requirements
- CA Inter (India) or equivalent professional qualification
- Prior experience in audit/assurance engagements
- Solid understanding of accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS or equivalent) and audit procedures
- Familiarity with financial statement presentation and disclosure requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision within tight deadlines
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Compensation
Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
Duration
2–3 months, with strong potential for a long-term opportunity based on performance and business needs.
