MyHR is the HR department for organizations without one.

Our small dedicated HR team delivers frontline employment law and process guidance, drives meaningful software engagement, and makes sure every customer sees clear value from their partnership with MyHR. Customers get guidance that is clear, easy to understand, commercially sound and current with provincial employment standards, tailored to their business, culture and industry.

From the moment a customer joins, through every milestone, challenge and opportunity, to the day they leave, this team owns their full HR and employment law journey.

Responsibilities:

Respond in a timely manner to customer employment relations requests (tickets), providing clear and pragmatic written or verbal employment relations and employment law guidance, including but not limited to: Misconduct and poor performance; Performance improvement, disciplinary and dismissal; Serious misconduct; Layoffs and employee terminations; Medical return to work support; Changes to employment terms and any associated considerations; Many other nuanced daily interactions with customers on a wide variety of employment relations matters
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers across the portfolio, acting as a consistent and reliable point of contact.
Proactively follow up with customers to support retention, ensuring they continue to see clear value in their MyHR partnership.
Maintain regular client engagement between active tickets, checking in on outstanding matters, upcoming needs, and overall satisfaction.
Complete all required customer documentation to a high standard, with no errors.
Maintain clear records of advice, decisions and outcomes within MyHR systems.
Deliver all support in a clear, practical way aligned with MyHR values.
Ensure customers understand risks, options, and recommended approaches.
Assist customers with the establishment and maintenance of performance reviews and use of performance reviews in all relevant circumstances.
In all interactions, champion the use of MyHR software, making use of AI and automation features available, improving the customer experience and expanding their use of our software.
Remain up to date with Canadian employment law, case law and emerging risks, always striving for knowledge growth to improve customer outcomes.
Be a trusted coach and advisor to customers who are unsure how to manage a process.

What You Bring

CPHR designation, or actively working towards one, is preferred.
2 - 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or employment relations role; experience advising multiple clients or organizations is an asset.
Solid working knowledge of Canadian employment standards legislation (federal and provincial); BC experience is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate HR and legal concepts into plain, practical language for non-HR audiences.
Comfortable managing a caseload independently while building long-term, trust-based client relationships.
Proficient with HR/HRIS software and comfortable adopting and championing new digital and AI-enabled tools.

Bonus Points

Experience working across multiple provinces and comfort navigating provincial legislation
Experience with HRIS/HR platforms
