We are recruiting a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Advisor / Architect to support the continued evolution of a complex enterprise D365 environment.
This is a senior, hands-on functional role.
The successful candidate will combine strong D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management expertise with the ability to operate at an architecture and advisory level, present to senior executives, lead functional workshops, configure the platform, and translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions.
This is not a coding role.
You will work closely with developers and technical teams, but your value will come from understanding D365 F&O deeply from the functional side, making sound configuration and design decisions, challenging unnecessary customization, and helping the business get the most from the platform.

Technical diploma or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

You do not need to write code.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior functional leadership across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Present overall business solution architecture and recommendations to Vice Presidents, Steering Committees and Executive Sponsors.
- Work with business leaders, technical teams and vendor partners to define target-state capabilities and final solution designs.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations and IT teams to analyze current processes and translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions.
- Lead workshops with business users, consultants and functional leads to address enhancements, defects, process changes and future-state requirements.
- Work hands-on with D365 configuration and functional solution design.
- Develop functional designs, configuration documentation and implementation specifications for D365 Finance & SCM.
- Recommend standard D365 functionality, third-party/ISV solutions or customization based on business requirements and Microsoft best practices.
- Review major configuration and business-process changes and identify deviations from established design principles or best practices.
- Support D365 implementations alongside Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, D365 Functional Consultants, Developers, Quality Assurance and Data Analytics teams.
- Guide business users through testing, training and adoption activities.
- Define functional requirements for integrations, data migration, reporting, security and custom development.
- Recommend and design cross-functional and cross-platform solutions incorporating technologies such as Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot complex functional issues across process, configuration, data and integration dependencies.
- Maintain strong alignment between business strategy, regulatory requirements and technology execution.
- Minimum 10 years of related business or enterprise systems experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong hands-on functional configuration experience with D365 F&O.
- Deep functional knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain Management.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to communicate solutions to both senior executives and technical delivery teams.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and training to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge requirements constructively and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
