About MyVeloFit

At MyVeloFit, we’re redefining what’s possible in bike fitting. Our AI-powered platform helps cyclists around the world improve comfort, performance, and enjoyment on the bike.

We’re a team of riders, builders, and storytellers who care deeply about cycling and the people who do it. We believe cycling technology should empower every rider, whether they’re chasing podiums, exploring new places, or just trying to make their weekend ride feel a little better.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to help shape how MyVeloFit shows up in cycling and take on broader leadership of our marketing function.

This is a hands-on role combining content, brand, community, and marketing performance. You’ll work alongside our digital and video team members, bringing strong judgment, curiosity, and critical thinking to both what we create and why it works. You’ll balance two priorities in everything we do: driving meaningful business outcomes and making a positive contribution to the cycling community.

Deep cycling knowledge is essential. You should be actively engaged in one or more cycling disciplines and have a broad understanding of the wider cycling world, including its different communities, culture, equipment, industry, and media landscape. You don’t need to be an elite athlete or bike fit expert, but you should be able to engage credibly with experienced riders.

We’re open to candidates at different stages of their careers. For someone earlier in their career, there’s significant room to grow into broader marketing leadership. For a more experienced candidate, we’re open to expanding the scope and level of ownership from the outset.

What You’ll Do
  • Turn business goals into effective marketing, developing ideas, campaigns, and content that grow MyVeloFit while creating genuine value for the cycling community.
  • Lead our content and community, identifying relevant topics, applying strong editorial judgment, and creating high-quality video, social, newsletters, articles, and rider engagement.
  • Shape and strengthen our brand, across messaging, storytelling, visual direction, and how we show up in cycling.
  • Understand and improve marketing performance, digging into data, trends, and rider behaviour to understand what’s working, why, and where we should focus next.
  • Improve how marketing gets done, coordinating across our team and partners while building effective systems for planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Take increasing ownership of the marketing function, including planning, reporting, and strategy based on your experience and growth in the role.
What You Bring
  • Deep cycling knowledge and active engagement with the cycling community, industry, and media landscape.
  • Independent, critical thinking. You ask why, question assumptions, look for patterns, and develop your own point of view.
  • You have 3+ years of relevant professional experience, including using data and analytics to understand performance and inform decisions. Your experience might be in marketing, content, media, communications, the cycling industry, or somewhere else entirely. We care more about how you think, what you’ve accomplished, and the responsibility you’ve taken on than a particular career path.
  • Strong taste, judgment, and communication skills. You know what makes an idea or piece of content good, can explain why, and can make complex ideas clear and engaging.
  • Hands-on written and video content experience, from planning and development through editing and delivery.
  • Ownership without ego. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, create structure, turn ideas into action, challenge and welcome challenges to ideas, and are someone others can depend on.
Nice to Have
  • Professional experience in cycling, outdoor, endurance sports, or another enthusiast-driven industry.
  • Hands-on experience with paid acquisition, SEO, email/lifecycle marketing, or website optimization.
  • Experience developing or evolving brand strategy, messaging, or visual direction.
  • Existing relationships within cycling media, creators, events, or the broader industry.
  • Experience leading or coordinating the work of employees, freelancers, agencies, or partners.
Why You’ll Love Working at MyVeloFit
  • Purpose-driven brand: We help riders everywhere enjoy their time on the bike more.
  • Growth opportunity: Build the foundation of our marketing function and grow with the company as we scale.
  • Work flexibly: We support flexible hours and partial remote work, with in-person collaboration for video shoots, events, and other team activities.
  • Competitive compensation: Performance-based bonuses, health and dental coverage, HSA/LSA spending accounts, and RRSP matching.
  • Be part of cycling: Work with a bike-obsessed team and enjoy access to industry perks and discounts.
How to Apply

Send your resume, 3–5 examples of work you’re proud of, and a short note which briefly tells us:

  1. What role cycling plays in your life and how you stay connected to the wider cycling world.
  2. What cycling media, creators, podcasts, or other sources you regularly follow.
  3. One topic, trend, or conversation in cycling you think MyVeloFit should be paying attention to, and why.

Your work examples can come from anywhere, including video, writing, social, campaigns, brand work, analysis, or other projects that show us how you think and what you can do.
