Original job description

We are looking for a Senior Amazon Connect Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Amazon Connect contact center solutions at enterprise scale.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Amazon Connect Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, IVR, call routing, and AWS integrations, along with a strong understanding of telephony and voice technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and support Amazon Connect solutions for enterprise Contact Center environments.
Build and maintain Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, IVR, and call-routing solutions.
Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services including:
AWS Lambda
DynamoDB
API Gateway
S3
CloudWatch
Work with Amazon Lex for chatbot and voice-bot implementations.
Design and troubleshoot enterprise-scale telephony, IVR, CTI, SIP, and VoIP solutions.
Troubleshoot routing issues, call failures, integration problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Support and optimize enterprise Contact Center infrastructure.
Integrate Amazon Connect with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar systems.
Collaborate with technical teams on Contact Center architecture, integrations, and production support.
Apply strong Java development skills to Contact Center integrations and supporting applications.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
Strong expertise in:
Amazon Connect Contact Flows
Routing Profiles
Queues
IVR
Call Routing Design
Experience integrating Amazon Connect with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
Strong understanding of telephony and voice technologies, including SIP, VoIP, CTI, IVR, and call routing.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale Contact Center infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, call failures, integrations, and performance issues.
Experience with CRM integrations, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
Strong Java development skills.
Knowledge of networking concepts including Routing, Switching, MPLS, SIP, and VoIP.

Nice to Have

Experience with Amazon Lex for chatbot and voice-bot implementations.
Knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
Exposure to Cisco Contact Center technologies, including UCCE and CVP.
