We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Low Latency Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance enterprise applications within a banking and financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Java development experience, a solid understanding of low-latency application design, and expertise in building scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems. You will contribute to technical architecture, performance optimization, API development, and production support while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Optimize application performance, latency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into effective and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Design and implement APIs, middleware integrations, and event-driven solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps-driven development practices.
  • Support cloud deployments and application modernization initiatives.
  • Perform database design, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote coding standards and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java application development.
  • Practical experience developing or optimizing low-latency applications.
  • Solid understanding of backend development and enterprise application architecture.
  • Experience designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
  • Understanding of performance optimization and efficient application design.

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Middleware integrations and event-driven systems.
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Cloud-based deployments and application modernization.
  • Database design, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Agile software development, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
