Original job description

About Nakisa

Nakisa is a global leader in AI-powered enterprise software for Human Resources, Financial Management, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE). Our cloud platform powers mission-critical operations for 1,100+ organizations in 135 countries and serves millions of users.

We are building the next wave of enterprise applications with Nakisa AI. Our products use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with secure API integrations to large language models. Customer data stays private and auditable, and we never use client data to train third-party models. This privacy-first design gives enterprises trustworthy AI they can run in production.

What sets us apart is a single platform that connects these functions on shared data models, a focus on high-stakes, compliance-heavy workflows, and a culture anchored in Fairness, Integrity, Service, and Humility. Recognized among Canada’s top employers, we offer hybrid work, supportive leaders, and clear growth paths. Join us to ship reliable, privacy-first AI at global scale.

About the Role

As an Implementation Consultant at Nakisa, you will work directly with enterprise customers to turn complex business requirements into successful software implementations.

You will lead key implementation activities from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, integration, and go-live. You will work as part of a Professional Services delivery team led by a Project Manager, who plans and manages the overall project. You will own your assigned implementation workstreams and deliverables, collaborate with other consultants and specialists, and guide customers through solution decisions, risks, and issues.

This is a highly customer-facing role that combines business analysis, technical problem-solving, and implementation leadership. Over time, you will develop deep expertise in one or more Nakisa solution areas, such as IWMS, lease accounting, workforce planning, or decision intelligence.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops, requirements gathering, and solution discussions.
Translate business requirements into practical software configurations and implementation solutions.
Configure Nakisa's SaaS solutions and support customers through testing, data migration, integrations, deployment, and go-live.
Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and unclear or impractical requirements, and help customers make informed implementation decisions.
Troubleshoot implementation issues, investigate root causes, and work across internal and customer teams to drive resolution.
Deliver customer training, product demonstrations, and working sessions as part of the implementation process.
Own assigned implementation workstreams and deliverables, and communicate progress, dependencies, and risks to the Project Manager.
Develop deep knowledge of one or more Nakisa solution areas and apply that expertise to increasingly complex customer implementations.

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in Professional Services, Implementation Consulting, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing enterprise software implementation role.
Hands-on experience with enterprise software implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, integration, data migration, or deployment.
Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex processes and translate requirements into practical software solutions.
Comfort working with cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain business and technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
Strong customer-facing judgment, with the confidence to build trust, manage expectations, and guide discussions with enterprise stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
Fluency in English is required, as this role serves as a primary point of contact for Nakisa’s global client base, requiring consistent written and verbal communication with enterprise clients, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams located outside Quebec.*
Nakisa delivers SaaS solutions to 1,100+ organizations across 135 countries. Teams, customers, and partners are distributed internationally.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Nakisa products or similar enterprise software platforms.
Experience in commercial real estate, lease accounting, finance, workforce planning, HR, or decision-support applications.
Experience with ERP environments, data migration, system integrations, or enterprise application architecture.
Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP reporting requirements.
Proficiency in French is an asset for customer engagement in bilingual markets.

What’s in it for you

Build deep expertise in enterprise SaaS delivery and one or more Nakisa solution areas.
Take ownership of meaningful client work and increasingly complex implementation responsibilities.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams, with opportunities to contribute to Professional Services and solution-delivery best practices.
Join a collaborative environment with hybrid work flexibility out of Montreal.

Why Nakisa?

💻 Flexibility: Hybrid work (1–2 days in our downtown Montréal office).

🌴 Time off: Starting at 3 weeks’ vacation, a paid week off at year end, an extra paid summer day off, personal and volunteer days, and generous sick leave.

💪 Active lifestyle: Free gym access in our downtown office building and half-price Bixi membership.

🎉 Social perks: Regular events to unwind with colleagues such as game nights, summer picnic, holiday party, excursions, and more.

🚀 Career growth: Mentorship, education assistance (80% up to $1,500 per year) and reimbursement of role-relevant professional dues.

AI-assisted recruitment:

Nakisa uses AI-assisted tools, including BrightHire and Greenhouse, throughout our recruitment process.
