Original job description

About Nakisa

Nakisa is a global leader in AI-powered enterprise software for Human Resources, Financial Management, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE). Our cloud platform powers mission-critical operations for 1,100+ organizations in 135 countries and serves millions of users.

We are building the next wave of enterprise applications with Nakisa AI. Our products use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with secure API integrations to large language models. Customer data stays private and auditable, and we never use client data to train third-party models. This privacy-first design gives enterprises trustworthy AI they can run in production.

What sets us apart is a single platform that connects these functions on shared data models, a focus on high-stakes, compliance-heavy workflows, and a culture anchored in Fairness, Integrity, Service, and Humility. Recognized among Canada’s top employers, we offer hybrid work, supportive leaders, and clear growth paths. Join us to ship reliable, privacy-first AI at global scale.

About the role

As a Senior Implementation Consultant at Nakisa, you'll lead complex enterprise implementations from kickoff to go-live, helping some of the world's largest organizations turn complicated business challenges into working solutions. You'll be the senior advisor clients rely on through delivery. You'll help Sales scope complex deals before they close, so projects start on solid ground, and you'll mentor other Implementation Consultants. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role that requires a blend of deep technical acumen, strategic thinking, and executive-level communication skills.

You'll focus on one of Nakisa's three solution areas:

Workforce Planning
Financial Management (lease accounting)
Real Estate (IWMS)

Deep expertise in these areas isn't required. We value the ability to learn a new area quickly.

What you’ll be doing

Bridging the gap between complex enterprise technology and real business outcomes, you’ll lead clients from requirements through go-live, serving as their trusted senior technical advisor at every stage, while helping raise the bar for the Professional Services team.

Implementation Delivery and Solution Design:

Lead end-to-end implementations for Nakisa's most strategic and complex enterprise accounts, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing and go-live.
Develop and present customized solutions that align with Nakisa’s product capabilities and customer objectives.
Partner with Sales on complex or non-standard deals to analyze requirements, scope the work and estimate implementation effort before the contract is signed.
Contribute to statements of work (SOWs) and build templates and pre-packaged solutions that Sales can use on their own.

Technical Expertise and Product Mastery:

Deeply understand Nakisa’s suite of SaaS solutions, staying updated on new product releases, industry trends, and best practices.
Serve as a trusted senior technical advisor to clients, ensuring they understand the product’s capabilities and how it meets their needs.
Facilitate technical discussions around integrations, configurations, and customizations as needed, often at the architecture level.

Strategic Value Communication:

Translate technical features into strategic business benefits to support the customer’s long-term success with Nakisa solutions.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to communicate insights and influence product development and roadmap decisions.
Engage credibly with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite audiences, on strategic technology decisions.

Project Support and Coordination:

Support the implementation phase by assisting with configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure customer teams are empowered to maximize product usage.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients during critical phases, fostering trust and advocating for customer needs.

Leadership, Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:

Mentor and coach junior and intermediate Implementation consultants, helping build their technical and consultative skills.
Contribute to internal knowledge bases, training materials, and best practices documentation, and help define team-wide standards.
Lead internal training sessions and initiatives to elevate the team’s technical proficiency and customer service standards.
Assist the support team when needed to ensure smooth issue resolution and knowledge transfer.

What you bring

We’re looking for a consultative problem-solver with sharp business sense, who learns new business areas quickly and has the presence to earn trust with senior stakeholders – someone who is as comfortable architecting a complex solution as they are presenting to a C-suite audience, and who is ready to help develop the next generation of Implementation consultants.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in Implementation Consulting, Technical Consulting, or a similar role within a SaaS solution provider, with a demonstrated focus on complex enterprise solutions. v
Proven track record of independently owning complex, enterprise-level engagements from requirements through go-live.
Proficient in enterprise software solutions and comfortable with cloud-based technologies, API/ERP integrations, and system architecture.
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including experience engaging senior client stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience mentoring or informally leading junior team members.
Prior experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS company.
Fluency in English is required, as this role serves as a primary point of contact for Nakisa’s global client base, requiring consistent written and verbal communication with enterprise clients, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams located outside Quebec.*
Nakisa delivers SaaS solutions to 1,100+ organizations across 135 countries. Teams, customers, and partners are distributed internationally.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Nakisa’s products or similar enterprise software platforms.
Familiarity with key industries served by Nakisa, such as finance, retail, or supply chain.
Proficiency in French and English is an asset for customer engagement in bilingual markets.
Experience in workforce planning, financial/lease accounting, or real estate (IWMS) solutions.
Experience scoping implementation work, estimating effort, or contributing to statements of work (SOWs) before a deal closes.

What’s in it for you

This role is designed for someone with deep expertise who’s ready to lead – not just execute complex engagements, but shape how the Professional Services team operates and grows.

Work on problems that matter – Nakisa’s solutions address high-stakes enterprise challenges in lease accounting, workforce intelligence, and organizational design for some of the world’s largest organizations.
Elevated scope and ownership – you’ll lead Nakisa’s most strategic and complex enterprise implementations, with a voice in how deals are scoped before they close.
Mentorship and influence – you’ll help shape the growth of junior and intermediate Implementation consultants, and contribute directly to team best practices and standards.
Room to grow across domains – build expertise across Nakisa’s full SaaS suite, with exposure to complex integrations, configurations, and industry-specific use cases across a global client base.
Cross-functional visibility across Product, Customer Success, and Sales, with the opportunity to contribute insights that shape how the product evolves.
A collaborative culture that values quality and continuous learning, recognized among Canada’s top employers, with hybrid work flexibility out of Montreal.
