Original job description

About Nakisa

Nakisa is a global leader in AI-powered enterprise software for Human Resources, Financial Management, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE). Our cloud platform powers mission-critical operations for 1,100+ organizations in 135 countries and serves millions of users.

We are building the next wave of enterprise applications with Nakisa AI. Our products use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with secure API integrations to large language models. Customer data stays private and auditable, and we never use client data to train third-party models. This privacy-first design gives enterprises trustworthy AI they can run in production.

What sets us apart is a single platform that connects these functions on shared data models, a focus on high-stakes, compliance-heavy workflows, and a culture anchored in Fairness, Integrity, Service, and Humility. Recognized among Canada’s top employers, we offer hybrid work, supportive leaders, and clear growth paths. Join us to ship reliable, privacy-first AI at global scale.

About the role

This is a full-cycle role. You will own your searches from the first outbound message through to the signed offer, and you will not be handing candidates to someone else to finish. What makes it different from most in-house recruiting jobs is where your pipeline comes from: the people we need are not applying to us, so you will build it yourself.

Your portfolio starts with our software developer, IT and technical product roles, alongside outbound searches in Customer Success and Enterprise Sales. You will also own how Nakisa shows up to candidates, from our employer brand to our presence on campus.

What you'll be doing

Build and own outbound pipeline using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub and AI assistants, with outreach that earns replies.
Follow up, and follow up again. Most passive candidates who reply do so on a second or third touch, so persistence is method here, not personality.
Own full-cycle recruitment for your portfolio: intake, screening, interview loops, offers and close.
Screen technical candidates against a structured rubric, telling a backend specialist from a generalist rather than matching keywords.
Partner with hiring managers on profile calibration, and keep scorecards and feedback moving on your searches.
Build talent maps for the roles we hire repeatedly: target companies, candidate pools and compensation intelligence.
Mine our Greenhouse CRM to resurface strong candidates who have already been through our process.
Grow our employer brand and stand up our campus and internship program with Montréal universities: the relationships, career fairs, intern cohorts and conversion to full-time.
Track your funnel, from reply rate through to time to fill, and change your approach based on what it shows.
Use AI assistants across sourcing, screening and drafting, and bring what works into the team’s playbook.

Tools you'll use

Greenhouse: applicant tracking and candidate CRM
LinkedIn Recruiter: your own seat from week one
HiBob: where you'll check org structure, job levels and reporting lines
AI assistants: Claude and Microsoft Copilot, used daily across sourcing, screening and drafting
The stack you'll be hiring for: Java and Spring Boot, Vue and Angular, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS and Azure, plus a data layer on Kafka and Elasticsearch.

What you bring

2+ years in recruitment, agency or in-house, with hires you sourced yourself and carried through to offer.
Technical recruiting experience. You have hired software engineers and can hold a credible conversation about a stack like ours.
Outbound sourcing you can quantify: prospects contacted, reply rate, and hires that came from your own outreach.
Written outreach as a core skill. You write your own sequences and can explain what makes one get replies.
Working fluency with AI assistants. You use them daily, you can explain how you structure a prompt to get a usable result, and you can name a time one got a candidate wrong.
Fluency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.
ATS discipline, including accurate source attribution. Greenhouse experience is an asset.
Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written.

Nice-to-haves

Sourcing or recruiting for backend, cloud or platform engineering.
Experience with outreach sequencing or sourcing platforms (Gem, hireEZ, SeekOut or similar).
Campus recruitment or early-talent program experience.
Understanding of the HR or Financial domain space.

What's in it for you?

A portfolio you own outright, with real decision rights on how you build pipeline and who you put forward.
An AI-augmented desk from week one, and a guaranteed base with no billing target attached.
Be part of a company that values continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.

Why Nakisa?

💻 Flexibility: Hybrid work (1–2 days in our downtown Montréal office).

🌴 Time off: Starting at 3 weeks’ vacation, a paid week off at year end, an extra paid summer day off, personal and volunteer days, and generous sick leave.

🩺 Health & wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance including telemedicine from day one.

💰 Financial security: RRSP matching up to 4% from day one and a home internet allowance.

💪 Active lifestyle: Free gym access in our downtown office building and half-price Bixi membership.

🎉 Social perks: Regular events to unwind with colleagues such as game nights, summer picnic, holiday party, excursions, and more.

🚀 Career growth: Mentorship, education assistance (80% up to $1,500 per year) and reimbursement of role-relevant professional dues.

🤝 Culture: A supportive, values-driven team with leaders who care.

🚀 Make your impact at Nakisa.

If building privacy-first AI for global enterprises motivates you, apply today and help shape the future of enterprise software.

Location: Montréal (hybrid).
Visa or relocation: not available.
Hiring process: AI-powered screen, recruiter conversation, hiring manager interview, and a panel or skills assessment depending on the role.
Apply even if not a perfect match: potential and drive matter here.

Apply today.

AI-assisted recruitment:

Nakisa uses AI-assisted tools, including BrightHire and Greenhouse, throughout our recruitment process. Our first-round interview is conducted by an AI interviewer (BrightHire), and later interviews with our team are recorded and transcribed to support accurate note-taking. AI-generated outputs, including transcripts, summaries, and structured scoring aids, support our hiring team and are reviewed by people. All hiring decisions are made by people based on job-related criteria.

If you need an accommodation at any stage, or have questions about how your data is processed, contact privacyofficer@nakisa.com

This position requires proficiency in an additional language (English) to source, screen and interview anglophone candidates. Nakisa has assessed the language needs of these duties before imposing this requirement.
