Company Description Nascom Group operates in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, focusing on import, export, packaging, and distribution across the USA and Canada. The company represents multiple FMCG brands, helping them expand market reach and visibility. Nascom Group works closely with retail and distribution partners to ensure efficient supply chain operations and product availability. Team members join a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with exposure to international markets and diverse product categories.

Role Description The Area Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC, responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships within an assigned territory. Daily activities include visiting and supporting retail and distribution partners, presenting product offerings, negotiating terms, and monitoring in-store execution. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, tracking sales performance, forecasting demand, and providing regular territory reports. The Area Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams on promotions, pricing, and logistics, and deliver training and guidance to customers and partners to optimize product sell-through. This position requires consistent field presence, proactive follow-up, and a focus on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building long-term relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
Proven Sales experience in FMCG or related industries, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Training and Sales Management capabilities to support customer education and guide territory sales activities.
Experience in territory management, account management, or field sales is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site, travel within the assigned area, and manage a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills, including use of CRM or sales reporting tools.
Relevant post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
Professional proficiency in English and French languages
