Original job description

A career as an Associate, Execution at the Ontario National Client Group team at National Bank means being part of a winning team. Financial professionals working together to be the best at delivering relevant and timely financial solutions that power the growth of Canadian businesses.

In this role you actively participate in a wide variety of complex senior debt lending mandates comprised of both bilateral and syndicated transactions headed by senior members of the National Client Group lending team.

Your job:

Support the day-to-day management of the Ontario National Client Group credit portfolio and assist with the execution of new lending opportunities/mandates as needed.

Working hours are largely dictated by portfolio demands with occasional non-standard working hours under a hybrid working model (possibility of working from home up to 3-days a week).

Our training programs take an experiential approach in which you will collaborate with senior members of the National Client Group deal team and gain hands-on experience underwriting complex transactions and managing an active portfolio. As you develop your professional skillset and gain valuable transaction and portfolio management experience, several growth opportunities exist – both within the National Client Group team and within the broader Bank.
