Original job description

A career as a Chief Functional Analyst in the MCP - Master Client Profile team is to play a strategic role in customer data management. It means being part of a team at the heart of the Bank’s data ecosystem, where every decision contributes to offering an exceptional experience to our clients.

You are part of a squad dedicated to the implementation and integration of new business capabilities from the client domain into our assets.

Your job

Your role is a hybrid of business analyst/functional analyst.
Analyze business issues, map processes and identify data needs
Collaborate with IT, architects and developers to ensure a coherent vision, lead workshops
Implement the governance of the master data (MDM) of the Bank
Support POs (product owners) and stakeholders in prioritizing value-added deliverables
Diagnose data-related issues and propose continuous improvements
Convert business needs into functional requirements, write use cases and business rules
Participate in the testing strategy, validate scenarios and support backlog management.

You are part of the MCP - Master Client Profile team with 70 colleagues and you report to the Senior Manager. Our team stands out for its level of maturity, experience and knowledge of the business sector.

Prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree or other diploma in computer science, or related, and several years of experience in IT as a business analyst and/or functional, ideally in a banking environment
Experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
Experience within a data ecosystem (SQL, Oracle)
Mastery of modeling tools (UML, BPMN, Collibra) and Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience in functional requirements documentation
Excellent autonomy, sense of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
Team spirit, curiosity, flexibility and open-mindedness.

Languages: French, English
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or another diploma in computer science or a related field, along with several years of IT business or functional analysis experience, is required; banking experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders, familiarity with data ecosystems and tools such as SQL, Oracle, UML, BPMN, Collibra, Jira, and Confluence, and knowledge of Agile methods.
