Original job description

A career as a Regional Administration Manager in the Wealth Management team at National Bank means acting as a leader who drives operational excellence and supports the employee experience across multiple branches. In this role, you will have a positive impact on our organization through your wealth management expertise, people leadership experience, and ability to build strong, high-performing teams.
You will play a key role in supporting administrative employees across the Prairie region, ensuring consistent branch operations, fostering employee development, and helping teams deliver exceptional service. You will partner closely with regional leadership and Wealth Advisory Teams to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Your role
• Lead the development, coaching, and performance management of Associates, Branch Administrators, and other support employees across the region.• Manage recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, and succession initiatives to ensure strong administrative support across branches.• Promote consistent administrative, operational, compliance, and risk-management practices while supporting the implementation of new policies and procedures.• Identify operational challenges, staffing needs, and process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.• Support Wealth Advisory Teams by addressing employee, operational, and branch administration matters and acting as an escalation point when required.• Build strong relationships across branches through regular branch visits, collaboration with leadership teams, and active support of employee engagement initiatives.
Your team
The Wealth Management sector consists of specialists who work in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of the industry, and continuously improve processes.
Within the Wealth Management team, you will support a geographically dispersed workforce across multiple branches throughout the Prairie region and report to the Vice President and Regional Manager. You will work closely with regional leaders, advisors, Branch Administrators, and support teams to ensure operational excellence and a consistent employee experience. Our team stands out for its collaborative approach, strong partnerships, and commitment to supporting people and business success.
We aim to provide the flexibility and support you need to succeed in your role while maintaining a strong connection with your team and business partners. This position is based in Calgary and requires a regular on-site presence to support branch operations, employees, and regional initiatives. Travel throughout the region is also required to maintain an active presence across branches and support business needs.

Requirements
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• Hold a valid CIRO Investment Representative licence.• Demonstrate experience within the wealth management industry, ideally in branch operations, administration, advisory support, or leadership roles.• Demonstrate experience leading teams, including recruitment, employee development, workforce planning, and performance management.• Demonstrate experience managing operational priorities, risk awareness, compliance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations.• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
